As per the partnership, Stadium Goods will be able to bring hard-to-find and authenticated sneakers to China. Sellers at Stadium Goods will also benefit from the increased visibility the partnership brings.

"As a leader in the sneaker marketplace, we're excited to be partnering with China's most premier destination for selling and buying. We believe together, Tmall Global and Stadium Goods will offer sneaker enthusiasts throughout China the most premium level of customer experience and authenticity for the Chinese consumer," says John McPheters, Stadium Goods Co-Founder and CEO.

Co-founded by McPheters and Jed Stiller in 2015, Stadium Goods offers a customer service-focused approach to buying highly coveted footwear, apparel and lifestyle goods. In November 2015, the retailer partnered with eBay to expand its reach online, and in February 2016 it partnered with Goat, the mobile peer-to-peer sneaker marketplace, to further expand its e-commerce and mobile presence.

Stadium Goods operates a flagship retail and drop-off location in New York City on 47 Howard Street and 305 Canal Street, respectively, and it is currently houses over 15,000 pairs of sneakers.
