London-based fashion consultancy Tomorrow has announced a “360-degree” partnership with Italian ready-to-wear brand N21. The strategic partnership will span distribution, events, strategy and a mentorship programme for emerging talent.

This means that N21, designed by Alessandro Dell’Acqua, will join the list of emerging and established fashion brands that have used Tomorrow’s services since it was founded in 2008. In addition to providing go-to market services through various showrooms and its own direct-to-consumer platform, Tomorrow has invested in brands including A-Cold-Wall* and Coperni, and offers product development and operations expertise.

N21 made its debut in 2010 during Milan Fashion Week and it has stores in Tokyo, Milan, Hong Kong, Beijing and Seoul. Under the terms of the agreement, the Milan-based brand will benefit from several features. Starting with the upcoming SS21 collection, Tomorrow will provide international sales and distribution services for N21 and the brands will work together to co-create events and showroom experiences at Garage Ventuno in Milan.

Tomorrow’s consulting division will also work closely with N21 on developing international multichannel go-to-market strategies, including the development of a dedicated product offering.

Meanwhile, Alessandro Dell’Acqua will provide his expertise to develop a co-mentorship programme for two emerging brands, one Italian and one international, each season. The initiative will offer creative and collection development guidance from Dell’Acqua, with Tomorrow providing support on go-to-market planning, production development, marketing, and distribution.

“This partnership with Alessandro and N21 is a continuation of Tomorrow’s strategy to champion and foster entrepreneurial creative talent,” said Stefano Martinetto, CEO of Tomorrow.

“We have a strong track record of helping emerging and larger fashion brands to develop and grow their businesses – such as the recent Fear of God x Zegna project. I am looking forward to Alessandro’s support as we extend that offering to incorporate his expertise.”

Dell’Acqua added: “This collaboration starts in a particularly difficult moment which has led Tomorrow and N21 to explore the opportunity to combine strengths. We also both value the same passion for emerging creative talent. I look forward to working with Tomorrow on new designers to co-curate collections and to help them to grow creatively and to build their businesses.”
