French fashion house Emanuel Ungaro has just called upon Céline Toledano to manage all of its collections. She is going to guide the team from the outside throughout their different stylistic directions.

A few weeks after the appointment of Jeffry Aronsson as its new president, Ungaro decided to strengthen its creative wing. Céline Toledano is expected to supervise the work of Giles Deacon, the house’s new creative director since May 2010.

Always behind the scenes in the fashion world, Céline Toledano used to manage the collections of Sonia Rykiel but is now working in a consulting agency. Previously, she also created, together with Stéphane Wargnier, one more year in the degree programme taught at Ecole de la Chambre, turning it into a 4-year course. In the past, Toledano supervised collections for Jacques Fath as well as Nina Ricci. She also worked with Karl Lagerfeld from 1983-1993, with Martine Sitbon from 1995-1996 and at Céline from 1996-1998.
