Riding the beauty success wave, ambitious vegan products maker Faith in Nature is targeting sales of £20 million for the 12 months to June 30 2023.

The latest target comes after the company’s sales hit £15.8 million in its prior year and are well up from the £6 million recorded  in 2019.

The firm had originally targeted sales of £19 million for its current financial year but its expectations had to be revised “due to Covid putting a strain on progress for both the UK and EU’s high street sales”, it told Business Live. Its products are sold through major high street retailers including Holland & Barrett and Boots.

Operations director Jason McNeil said: "As society has matured in its thinking around sustainable products, lots of consumers have seen our brand, looked at the range of products, and made an informed decision to start making purchases from us.

"That all-important decision process has been helped recently by our most successful rebrand which took place a few years ago."

The Bury, Lancashire-based business has been supported by its local GC Business Growth Hub since 2015 and its head of manufacturing and sustainability Anne Campion also said: "Faith in Nature is an exciting business and we’re pleased that we’ve been able to help them maximise the opportunities sparked by a big increase in eco-conscious purchasing.

"Our support was key for their rebrand, which has been pivotal to their huge sales increase. We helped them access different streams of funding which supported the rebrand, which in turn has led to being stocked by major retailers and new jobs for 22 staff.”
