Vente-Privée: Frédéric Beltoise named director of supply chain

The French flash sales leader has announced the appointment of Frédéric Beltoise to its advisory committee as director of supply chain.

A former associate professor of Civil Engineering, Frédéric Beltoise subsequently worked for the consulting firm Newton Vauréal Consulting before becoming director of supply chain and services at Fnac. He was named director of services & solutions in 2012, joining the management committee. In January 2015, he joined Vente-Privée as director of flow and quality in Europe. 

"He will be responsible for making supply chain a real driver for growth, fostering the development of innovative processes and strategic projects oriented toward the expectations of customers in terms of flexibility, quality and speed," the company said in a press release. 

Vente-Privée sees some 150,000 parcels delivered on average per day, with 80 million products sold last year. Vente-Privée generated a turnover of 1.7 billion euros in 2014, up by 8%. 

Operating in eight countries in Europe and with over 2,100 employees, the company offers products from some 2,600 brands to an audience of 24 million registered members signed up for its daily sales.
