Zadig & Voltaire is making headlines. After picking Kate Moss as the face of its Fall/Winter 2019-20 advertising campaign, the Parisian label collaborated with its new muse to create a handbag line with a rock ‘n’ roll vibe. The line is called simply ‘Kate’, and it features four models for a total of 15 versions.

Except for the XL sizes, sold online only, the ‘Kate’ handbags will be available from next October at Zadig & Voltaire stores, priced between €320 and €695. The line will also be showcased at a 31 m2 retail corner at Parisian department store Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche from August 29, marking the label’s return to Le Bon Marché after several seasons’ absence.

Zadig & Voltaire currently operates 118 monobrand stores worldwide, plus 153 concessions and 31 outlet stores, and is making a push for the Asian market. The French label is busy opening new stores in Europe too: it inaugurated a flagship in Madrid last July, and will open another one in Copenhagen in November 2019.

Zadig & Voltaire showed the Fall/Winter 2019-20 collection in New York last February, but the label founded by Thierry Gillier in 1998 will be back on the Parisian show calendar, to present the Spring/Summer 2020 collection.
