Alexander McQueen and Damien Hirst team up for scarf collection
Aug 14, 2013
British luxury label Alexander McQueen has tapped artist Damien Hirst to design a 30-piece limited edition collection of scarves in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the signature piece. The designs are inspired by the English artist’s “Entomologly” series which features bugs and insects in geometrical patterns.

The scarves – which will hit stores and the brand’s e-boutique from mid-November – will retail from £315. The designs will be available on various materials, including chiffon, twill and cashmere.
Hirst has previously dabbled in high fashion before, lending his designs to luxury brand The Row for a collection of crocodile backpacks retailing at around 35,000 dollars.
