Chantelle buys the Dutch chain Livera

Having acquired the Danish brand Femilet in 2011, Chantelle has moved on to the Netherlands. The lingerie group is continuing to fortify its position in Europe with the acquisition of Livera, which has a network of 102 franchises across the Netherlands.

Livera’s multi-brand stores already stock Chantelle and Passionata, but it has also developed its own entry-level lingerie and swimwear brand.

The franchise belonged up until now to the Dutch group Euretco, which is developing the franchise Intersport at home. The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Chantelle, which continues to expand its portfolio, both in terms of brands and distribution, is asserting itself more and more as a European leader. Following the path it took with Orcanta, its network of multi-brand stores in France, Chantelle is now establishing its own distribution network in Northern Europe to consolidate its presence, up until now focused on independent multi-brands.
