Andrew Rogers assumed the role of brand director of the McQ line on February 17, in a newly created position at fashion house Alexander McQueen (Kering Group). Rogers was previously brand director at Fred Perry, where he touched down only briefly. Before that, he directed British brand Reiss for five years.

Rogers’ career path within the Kering Group’s luxury goods lines included a variety of roles at Stella McCartney from 2001 to 2008.

McQ got its start in 2005 under a five-year licensing agreement with the Italian company Sinv. Subsequently, Alexander McQueen brought the brand’s production in-house, and worldwide distribution is managed via regional agents such as Robert Dodd in France and Monaco.
