Phoebe Philo and Pat McGrath feature on New Year’s Honours list
Céline creative director Phoebe Philo and veteran make-up artist Pat McGrath have both been named on Queen Elizabeth II’s New Year’s Honours list.
Philo, known for her stints at French fashion powerhouses Céline and at Chloé, has been awarded an OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) for services to the fashion industry. Pat McGrath, the make-up artist behind looks for Dior and Dolce & Gabbana, has received an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire).
Previous big names in fashion to feature on the Honors List include famed fashion photographer Mario Testino and Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen.
