Vestiaire Collective creates country manager posts for France, Italy and Spain

The portal dedicated to second-hand luxury fashion has announced the appointment of three country managers, to lead business expansion in France, Italy and Spain.

Sabrine Mouden will be leading operations in France. Mouden is a graduate of the HEC business school in Paris, and previously worked for LEK Consulting in London and Boston, before joining Rocket Internet. She was then in charge of a design website in London, head of the business development team for Zalando in Berlin, and Vice-President of Fashion & Beauty for African website Jumia in Paris.

Italy was assigned to Alice Acciarri, who will head the first local office established in Milan. A graduate of L. Bocconi University, Acciarri worked for publishing group RCS MediaGroup, before spending six years at Yoox (now the Yoox Net-a-Porter Group), where she was in charge of Shoescribe.com and Thecorner.com.

Suzana Rodriguez Escudero will take charge of Spain. She is a graduate of Rotterdam University, and worked as head of digital marketing for Nike Europe. She then took charge of digital marketing and European expansion at The Level Group, where she collaborated with Stuart Weitzman, Costume National, Casadei, Geox and New Balance.

The portal currently boasts 4 million members, and some 100,000 new registrations every month. Vestiaire Collective is distinctive for the selection of items put up for sale by its members, with an acceptance rate of 80%, and its monitoring of item quality. It's a formula that works: the average order basket is €325, and 75% of clients come back for more orders.
