Rapid antigen tests and 30% less capacity characterised the second edition of the Madrid fashion week to be held in hybrid format, a yearning for celebration mixing with calls for women’s rights and guest politicians.
The Madrid trade fair has been trying to offer a more attractive proposition since the appointment of its new director, and has put diversification, design and sustainability at the centre of the event.
The trade show, which takes place from 8 to 10 February, will debut a new format, combining fashion and footwear. 34.5% of the almost 800 exhibitors will be new brands as the event continues to focus on sustainability.
