In an award ceremony held at the Natural History Museum in London, fashion and design museum Victoria & Albert was named as the winner of the Museum of the Year 2016 award, presented by HRH The Duchess of Cambridge.
The fashion museum will work together with the Smithsonian, the largest museum in the US, to develop a plan for a jointly organised permanent gallery space as a key part of V&A’s new east London location.

“Undressed: A Brief History of Underwear” is the name of next year’s fashion exhibition at the Victoria & Albert museum, sponsored by lingerie brand Agent Provocateur and Revlon. The exhibition will open on April 16.
