Viktor&Rolf - Women's Fall/Winter 2014/15 Collection in Paris (with itw)

On the road again… The grey felt colour, the same which is used in their new Parisian boutique, is the driving colour in Victor&Rolf’s 2014/2015 collection. On the stage, knitwear started to decline into an all grey colour palette. It was reflected not only in jumpers, but also in the coats, jackets and dresses which turned into miniskirts and trousers. The texture was also braided, with faux fur and bordered in crystals, a true exercise in style. Shoes are strappy with a thick sole. On the boots, the strap creates a new way to unhook the heel.Interview :Viktor Horsting & Rolf Snoeren :It’s inspired by our new flagship store in Paris. It’s all in grey felt, the store, and the collection is all about the colour grey. It’s based on the V neck sweater, a masculine and comfortable icon.We twisted it in very different ways, but always with a surreal touch because that is what we like and the catwalk looks like a highway so for us it’s really about girls with an urban attitude, walking on the street in a Victor and Rolf V neck sweater. As always there are coats, but since there is an emphasize of knit, the coats are embellished with fragments of knit or there are on jacquard that look like knit, so everything is a little bit about knitwear because we are looking for a new softness.Music from the fashion show
