Designer : jeremy scott decor : a cardboard catwalk and a theatrical red curtain. inspiration: fashion is, before anything else, a question of attitude and beauty is found everywhere even in rummaging through the bins. silhouette : the designer recycles everything, the bubble wrap, the cardboard is transformed into couture dresses or ultra-elegant suits.the street and especially the hip hop movement inspires a succession of printed silhouettes, with urban outfits, around parkas, trousers and tops.to note : the stephen jones hats with a candelabra, a bicycle wheel, or a cardboard box placed on the head. interview with jeremy scott : basically couture is an attitude it’s not a price point, it’s the woman inside who makes the couture cardboard suit look like a million bucks, it’s always about the person, so that was the statement, taking the over looked, the trash, the things that people don’t pay attention to or don’t find beautiful and making something beautiful and elegant and wonderful out of it and that was really what i was after. i love hip hop music i love the mood and the passion of the hip hop community so definitely with the jewelry and the mix… the street is a real cool element and something that’s very natural for me i have a very unique sense of dressing myself and i think it’s always kind of part of my work.i’m a messenger, i communicate with fashion, fashion is my language in that sense and that’s how i can touch people lives and communicate with them through my shows and through my designs.music from the show (only to be used in the context of the show, protected by the right to information.)
