Artistic director : christine phungambiance : in the grand palais, christine phung presents her second collection for the house and redirects a marble print dating back to the 70s, which she reinterprets in a contemporary way, without forgetting the flowers, especially the orchid scattered and embroidered on some of the pieces. collection : mineral tinted prints, enhanced by the blue, purple and silver tones, and appearing in a wardrobe made more urban with trench coats and zipped blousons, a woolen jumper or a sweat shirt with a hood. the skirts and the trousers are loose or on the contrary, a short dress with long sleeves as well as the white fur that plays the contrasts.to note : the long, pleated and light dresses with a plunging neckline or fastened around the neck. interview with christine phung : for this new collection, which is a winter collection, i was inspired by a print that i found in the archives and which was a marble print dating back to the 70s and i recolored, using different colours, from the brightest to the darkest by going up until night and then it was the starting point, i imagined a story of a girl who walks in a marble quarry, looking for flowers.the idea was to invent a contemporary and urban wardrobe for the woman of today, with wearable pieces, and to finally really be in the contemporary and wearable wardrobe.the exercise for me was to be above all leonard, with of course a work on the materials that i appreciate very much, so this work on the patchworks that we find, on pleats, and modernity in the colors.music from the show (only to be used in the context of the show, protected by the right to information.)
